The best of 7 WHL Final is now down to a best of 3.

The Seattle Thunderbirds evened the series at two Wednesday night with a convincing 6-1 win over the Pats.

Sam Steel got the first goal of the game for Regina, but Seattle roared back to take a 3-1 lead after 20, and added three more in the second to chase Tyler Brown from the Regina net as Jordan Hollett saw his first playoff action playing the 3rd.

The T-Birds win means the Ed Chynoweth Cup will be handed out at the Brandt Centre as the series will return to Regina after Friday's Game 5 at the Sho-Ware Center.  The question now is will it be he Pats or T-Birds looking to end the season on Mother's Day in a 6 PM start.

If a Game 7 is needed, it goes Monday night at the Brandt Centre at 7.

Worst effort of the year. They didn't look ready to go right from puck drop. Best of 3 now!
