Without Tyler Brown (pictured), the Regina Pats are possibly not in the WHL Final, and they wouldn't have won Game 3 of the WHL Final.
Brown was outstanding stopping 36 shots, 19 alone in the 3rd including an incredible save late in the contest off of Turner Ottenbreit as Regina held on for a 3-2 win in Game 3 and a 2-1 series lead.
The first period of the game saw a different contrast to the first two games played at the Brandt Center as there was more offense and skating room for both teams with the end result being a 2-2 game after 20 minutes.
In the 2nd period, the lone goal came off the stick of Robbie Holmes as he roofed one past Carl Stankowski to give Regina what would be the game-winner.
The end of the game had some dramatics to it as Sam Steel was awarded a penalty shot with just over 7 minutes to play, but failed to convert.
Regina then took a penalty from Austin Wagner at the 18:33 mark of the 3rd and looked to be going two men down when Wyatt Sloboshan was whistled down, but the referees decided to give T-Birds forward Matt Barzal a controversial "embellishment" call on the play at 19:24. With the net empty, Seattle could not get the equalizer thanks to Brown.
Once again, the Pats were without captain Adam Brooks who was injured in Game 1 of the series.

The fact Kolesar played last night shows you how "serious" the WHL discipline committee is.
Didn't think Steel should have been awarded a penalty shot.

Brown was amazing! Has to be playoff MVP if Pats win.
