WHL Playoffs Update

Seven of the eight first round matchups continued in the WHL playoffs Wednesday night with the only series having the night off being the one between the Pats and Hitmen which will resume Thursday in Calgary.

Here is what happened Wednesday night

EASTERN CONFERENCE 

Swift Current 5 Moose Jaw 2 -- Ryley Lindgren (SC) 3 goals (best of 7 series tied at 2)
Medicine Hat 3 Brandon 2 -- David Quenneville (MH) 2 goals (Tigers win series 4-0
Red Deer 4 Lethbridge 3 (2OT) -- Evan Polei (RD)  GWG @ .48 2 OT (Best of 7 series tied at 1) 


WESTERN CONFERENCE 

Victoria 2  Everett 1 -- Griffen Outhouse (VIC) 30 saves  (best of 7 series tied at 2)
Kelowna 1 Kamloops 0 -- Michael Herringer (KEL) 24 saves ( Rockets lead best of 7 3-1)
Prince George 6 Portland 1 -- Jansen Harkins (PG)  2G, 3A (Cougars lead best of 7 2-1)
Seattle 9  Tri-Cities 2  -- Ethan Bear (SEA) 2G, 3A (T-Birds lead series 3-0)
