Riders Launch "Build the Pride" Capital Campaign
The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today details of the Build The Pride Capital Campaign.
The Build the Pride Capital Campaign is being led by the Saskatchewan Roughriders as a way to give back to Regina and the Province as part of their commitment to the construction of new Mosaic Stadium and team facilities. The Riders will be raising donations to the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation, a local charitable foundation. Funds raised will be designated to support charitable projects in the City of Regina.
Fans who make contributions of $300 or more to the campaign will have the opportunity to be recognized on a granite fan wall at new Mosaic Stadium. Three community themed granite fan walls will surround a fan inspired monument that will create a visually stunning plaza, attracting tens of thousands of visitors on game days and throughout the year.
Donations will be accepted on-line at www.newmosaicstadium.com.
“Over the past couple of years we have had many inquiries from fans who wanted to support the stadium project,” said Roughrider President & CEO Craig Reynolds. “Through working with the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation and the City of Regina, fans will be able to show their support for this incredible new stadium, a community use facility and new home of the Roughriders. We have designed an inspiring plaza that will celebrate our incredible fan base while providing permanent recognition to fans for their generous contribution to the Build The Pride Capital Campaign.”
The three granite structures will allow for a limited number of names to be engraved on one side of each wall. In addition to being recognized with a permanently engraved name, fans will receive a personalized certificate recognizing their contribution to the Build The Pride Capital Campaign.
Donations to the campaign will be eligible for a charitable tax receipt. The charitable contributions will be made to the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation who have established a fund for the purpose of supporting capital projects for the City of Regina.
Fans can find more details and contribute on-line by visiting www.newmosaicstadium.com while space remains available.
