Week 10 CFL Stars of the Week

With the CFL abandoning its stars of the week, and going with performers of the week, I give you my Week 10 CFL stars of the week.

OFFENSE ---DEREL WALKER-EDMONTON

The Edmonton receiver had a monster game in a bounce-back contest for the Eskimos. The Texas A&M product had 7 catches for 164 yards and a touchdown in the 38-15 win over Toronto.

DEFENCE -- KYRIES HEBERT-MONTREAL

The Alouettes did what no other CFL team had done since the Ti-Cats moved into Tim Hortons Field as they upset the Ti-Cats in Jim Popp's latest debut on the sidelines. Hebert had 5 tackles, one sack and one interception in the win.

CANADIAN - JUSTIN CAPICOTTI - OTTAWA

Ottawa had 10 sacks against the Riders and it might have been 20 had Tino Sunseri played the whole game. Capicotti, Keith Shologan and Zack Evans all had huge games, but you can't ignore the three sack night from the Simon Fraser product.

SPECIAL TEAMS - KENDIAL LAWRENCE - EDMONTON

Lawrence is a strong enough offensive threat, but he is quickly becoming one of the game's top returners. He took a punt back 64 yards for a touchdown against the Argos and was close to breaking some other returns to take the honour this week.

that seems like a redundant statement, there are no stars in the CFL. all just plumbers and cab drivers

I love the way you snub the new commissioner's brain dead idea and stick to tradition. Good on you Scruffy and good picks too.
