Durant Practicing With Riders Today

Darian Durant is getting closer to a return for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The veteran quarterback was on the practice field and throwing passes Monday as the Roughriders prepare for their final regular season game against the Edmonton Eskimos.
Durant participated in individual drills but left when team drills began. Head coach Corey Chamblin said Durant is still in rehab mode but could play this weekend. Chamblin added he wants Durant to get some game action in before the playoffs but could still play in the postseason without playing this week.
It’s still unclear if Durant will play against Edmonton.
Durant has been out for nearly two months after injuring his elbow on a hit from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ Bryant Turner.
Durant had 1,792 passing yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions in 10 games this season before getting injured.
The Roughriders are currently tied for third in the West Division with the BC Lions with a 9-8 record. Saskatchewan has clinched a playoff spot and will either take on the Eskimos in the West Division semi-final or cross over to the East Division.
