GC 101 News

I know its late, but here is Friday's announcement for your reference if you need it...

The 101st Grey Cup Festival unveiled a number of events that will take place during Grey Cup Festival week in November. The announcement was made at a rally held in downtown Regina Friday afternoon.

Due to overwhelming demand, tickets to the 101st Grey Cup Championship Game will be awarded via a Lottery. The intent of the Lottery is to provide the fairest approach to the sale and access to the limited number of remaining and available 101st Grey Cup Championship Game tickets. The Lottery is intended to give all participants ample time to sign up and have the chance to access tickets to the game.

The Lottery itself will begin to collect names using the 101greycupfestival.ca website on a form page on Friday June 21, at 10:00am (SK. time). The Lottery will continue to be open and accept these entries for 101 hours and will close on Tuesday June 25, at 3:00pm (SK. time). Successful applicants will be contacted on June 25th and those chosen can purchase their 101st Grey Cup Championship Game tickets from June 27th to June 30th (limit of four tickets).

Team Party Passes will also be available via a Lottery. Team Party Pass Lottery times and rules are identical to the Championship Game Tickets Lottery (limit of two Team Party Passes per successful applicant). Single day tickets will be sold at the door during Grey Cup Festival week.

All other ticketed events below will go on sale at 101greycupfestival.ca beginning July 6th.

“We are very excited about the events being offered at the 101st Grey Cup Festival,” stated 101st Grey Cup Festival Executive Director Neil Donnelly. “We felt the variety of events will give CFL fans of all ages the opportunity to enjoy the festivities that the Grey Cup Festival has to offer.”
