Klimchuk Off To Top Prospects Game

The Canadian Hockey League announced the rosters for the upcoming CHL Home Hardware Top prospects game today. One of the players taking part at the January 16th showcase will be Regina Pats forward Morgan Klimchuk.

Klimchuk, a 6th overall Bantam Draft pick of the Pats in 2010, is ranked fifth among WHL skaters by Central Scouting for the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
The Calgary native has 36 points (16G, 20A) in 33 games for the Pats this season, already matching his total through 67 games as a rookie last season.
“It’s really exciting. You get to play with and against some of the best players in your age group,” says Klimchuk. “It’s a good chance to see where you stack up when it comes to the draft and like I said against the best players in your age group and the CHL.”
The Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game features 40 of the CHL’s top draft eligible players for the 2013 NHL Draft. This annual showcase features the next wave of NHL talent from the Ontario Hockey League, Western Hockey League, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The 2013 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game is proudly supported by title partner Home Hardware for the 14th straight year, along with associate sponsors Bank of Montreal, Subway, Old Dutch, and Post. The game will be broadcast live to a national audience on Sportsnet and TVA Sports beginning at 8:00 pm Atlantic.
