There is an excellent article in the December 10 edition of the New Yorker (available at the Sunrise library and other branches) titled 'King of the South', about Alabama football and sports talk show host Paul Finebaum. His show is 100% devoted to college football, in particular the Crimson Tide.People involved in sports radio (Rod, Mitch et al) will find the article a great and worthwhile read. Among the story about Paul's work in the craft is his reply to a caller to his show where he says, "I'm not going to respond, but you can make a complete ass out of yourself and go right ahead".
Had a listen to this conversation with Jon Ryan conducted by Mr. Mitchell Blair and company. Have to say, Impressed with the voice and the easy going knowledgeable sports persona of Mr. Blair, can't say that about others In the business of radio/television. Keep up the good work Mr. Blair, your blog very Informative. ElA

Hopefully he gets one before he is done. Sorry Mitch, but I don't think it happens this year. Too many good teams in NFC (Falcons, SF, Packers)Rob
