One And Done For Reinebold In Montreal

Jeff Reinebold's return to the CFL was a short one. The Montreal Alouettes announced Tuesday night that Reinebold, who was serving as the team's defensive co-ordinator, will not return for the 2013 season.

Reinebold had spent eight seasons in the CFL as an assistant coach and a head coach.

I hope they have their eyes on Richie. If they stole him that would be as nice a Christmas present as any Rider fan could get.

There's the difference between an outfit that wants to win and one that wants to sell lots of T-shirts.
The Als led the East last year and allowed the fewest points against in their division but still want to improve.
Meanwhile the Riders continue their love-in with the guy that allowed the most second and long conversions in the league.
Go figure.

The anti-Richie sentiment makes me laugh. The guy had the number 2 defense in the league this year and he had it by having to play Shomari Williams. Perhaps the reason the defense couldn't stop 2nd and longs is that there is no pass rush. The job of the DB is a lot tougher when there is no pass rush. Have any of you critics ever played the game? I doubt it!

Murray I have never played but I have watched it and there is a big difference in an aggressive scheming D and a laid back Hall cushion D. One doesn't have to play the game to see that. I will be the happiest Rider fan on earth if Hall gets the axe.
