Englot Moves To 4-2

Michelle Englot and her rink from the Tartan in Regina remains right behind the leaders after morning play at the Scotties in Red Deer. Englot beat New Brunswick 11-6 this morning to improve to a record of 4-2. That is good for a 2nd place tie with Jennifer Jones as her Manitoba rink improved to 4-2 this morning with a win over Nova Scotia. Those two rinks will play this afternoon. BC's Kelly Scott and Team Canada's Amber Holland lead the way at 4-1. Holland plays Ontario's Tracy Horgan while Scott exchanges granite with the Heather Nedohin foursome from Edmonton.

The Leader-Post's Murray McCormick will join me on the Sportscage tonight to talk about the afternoon draw and how the two Saskatchewan rinks are faring.

The Tuesday show will also have Arash Madani who has some interesting news on Andy Fantuz's contract with the Ti-Cats and we will remember the life of Cal Murphy. Talk to ya then.
