So Much For Declining TV Ratings

From Toronto Star

Not all the big numbers were on the scoreboard on the opening weekend of the CFL playoffs.
The Tiger-Cats’ 52-44 overtime win over the Alouettes in the East semifinal attracted an average audience exceeding 1.6 million viewers on TSN and RDS, according to overnight data from BBM Canada. That made it the second-most watched TV program on Sunday following The Amazing Race, which drew 2.3 million on CTV. The audience peaked at 3 million, TSN added.
The Eskimos’ 33-19 West semifinal win over the Stampeders drew an average of 1.4 million while more than 7.1 million watched some CFL playoff action.
