Does This Sum It Up?

In the wake of tonight's 24-18 loss by the Riders, I can only say we wait for this.

At least something tonight made me laugh. Thanks for that!

BTW: I say Monday

Was it just me or did Marshall just have a look of complete defeat on his face during the halftime interview. Is it possible to keep the coaches and release 30 players.

So what does the guy who said "they have the best team on paper" in the West think about the Riders now!

Chris McKenzie--can't tackle, has regressed. See ya!

Sean Lucas--you didn't even get a chance to prove you don't suck--see ya!

Marc Parenteau--how many times can you give Darian a bad snap--see ya!!

Terrence Nunn--training camp stud, regular season dud---see ya!!

Doug Berry---shotgun on 3rd and 1, see ya!!

Christopher Milo---you are brutal, see ya!!

Darian Durant--you are playing your ass off and I hope once 83 and 84 get back that you play the way you are capable of. I can't imagine the frustration you must be feeling.

Vent session over! Thank you!

What the hell was that? 3rd and 1 and we call a shotgun draw? Asking our smallest RB to run 7 yrds to get 1! Berry and Durant have no chemistry. Actuall, Berry doesn't have chemistry with anyone. After 8 games the offense should be on the same page. He is holding Durant back from greatness. Too stubborn to adjust the offense to fit the atheletes we have NOW. Different from last year. As for Richie, not bad considering he has no pass rush from the front 4. Middle of the pack in sacks. Held the opposition to under 25 pts in 4 of 7 losses. Doing the best with what he HAS. Marshall has lost the team. Tuning him out and their confidence is gone in him. You can't get that back. He looks really lost as a head coach. Maybe V.P. Ken will have to become Coach Ken for the rest of this season. Players believe in him and should respond. As for OC....no clue. Miller as head coach or Miller as OC?
Can't fire 42 players, but a couple of coaches may have to go to start with. No "impact" talent has shown up yet. I hope we aren't in a 90's time warp! So many problems and not enough answers. Management better show something this week. Fans have sold out the park 15 times in a row. We did our part. Step up boys!

Time for Berry and Hall to walk the plank and be replaced by Miller and Etcheverry

3rd and 1 shotgun draw? Not going for the first down at the end to give yourself a couple of more plays. Hopson has to realize Berry's days are done. DD is getting more frustrated and if this continues, he might askk for a trade and then we are completely screwed as Dinwiddie and Bergquist aren't ready to take over. Its going to be an interesting week around here.

Well - the game we shoulda won but didn't. If we make the earlier field goals - tack on five points - score is 24-23 and instead of trying for a touchdown, we coulda kicked a field goal for the win. Looking forward for Luca to come back. It would be interesting to see what the Riders could accomplish if they played well executed football for a full game.

I probably sound like a broken record, but time to fire Berry. The media pundits continue to say "who are you going to replace him with" - what a lame excuse. Didn't stop Toronto from firing their defensive coach. The bleeding stops now.

Keith Shologan said it best on TSN last night - we lost leadership in the offseason with the loss of O'Day and Szarka and its been tough to find someone to fill their voids. What do the Riders do - get rid of two leaders (Kornegay & Mullinder) as a way to right the ship.

I hope we don't continue to get rid of veterans to reduce space under the cap to free up money just in case we can get a saviour to come back from the NFL reject pile - give me a break.

Bye-bye Berry - I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

Iron Mike.
