Baseball Fans Need To Take The Day Off

Memories are ready to be created. The baseball playoffs begin with familiar teams like the Yankees, Phillies and Braves there. The Rangers, Giants and Reds haven't been there in a while. A triple-header (one that I'm assuming will be on Sportsnet and not Sportsnet One) will be available today. If you need a primer as to what is going on, click here.

Why did TSN split up "Around the Horn" and "Pardon the Interruption". Put "Off the Record" on TSN2. I don't know of anyone who is watching OTR when ATH is on.
-----
I know there are many out there who love Jim Rome, but I can only take him for a few minutes at a time. I can't watch "Jim Rome Is Burning" on a daily basis.
----
Having a lung infection really, really sucks!!!
-----
How many Rider fans will be waiting for word on whether or not Darian Durant is practicing today. It sounds as if he's fine. Relax!
----
Do you think the Riders could beat the Argos Saturday if Ryan Dinwiddie had to start? I do!
-----
Randy Moss back to the Vikings? If that happens, can they lure Gary Anderson out of retirement?
----
This October has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays in it. The next time it will happen is 2021. A rumour out there says this hasn't happened in 823 years. That's not the case.
----
The Oilers will not be the worst team in the NHL!
----
Marshawn Lynch will help the Seahawks offence, especially if it means Matt Hasselbeck stops making dumb decisions by throwing the football. As much as I've been a fan of Hasselbeck, the time has come to get a new guy in there. Knowing the Seahawks would have taken Sam Bradford had he been at #4 this past year and then watching Bradford do his thing against the Seahawks last Sunday made me cringe somewhat.
-----
Word keeps filtering out that there will be no NFL next year because of labour unrest. That is not good news on many different levels.
-----
For a team that was supposed to have difficulty putting the puck in the net this year, the Yorkton Terriers are doing a pretty good job early on in the SJHL season. They beat previously unbeaten Humboldt at home 3-2 last night to sit with a record of 6-1-1-1.
------
In your hockey draft, I'm guessing Sid and Ovie are going 1-2 or vice-versa. Who went with the #3 pick.

Guys remember this.....Women might be able to fake orgasms, but men can fake a whole relationship.

Cheap shot with Gary Anderson, but a good one.

If our defence plays the way it has been, we could beat the Argos with Cole Bergquist.

Romey rocks it. I tape that show everyday now that its on. Kornheiser and Wilbon have gotten stale for me.

How about Malkin at 3? I got him at 5 in ours. I think Thornton and one of the Sedins went ahead of him.
