Its Time To Move On

Needless to say the controversial call on John Chick last Saturday might touch a nerve for Riders coach Ken Miller, but he was joking about it after practice Tuesday as the football team got back on the field for the first time since Saturday's contest. After practice, Miller said he had no sympathy for Tom Higgins and the many e-mails he has gotten from upset Rider fans. Miller also joked that a couple of those e-mails may also have come from him. In all seriousness, Miller then said that he received a call from Higgins to discuss the matter and that while the team may never get over what happened, it is time to turn the page and concentrate on the present and not dwell on the past.
Miller also says he would not be surprised if Casey Printers got some game time Saturday afternoon when the Lions visit in another first-place showdown. As it stands right now, rookie Travis Lulay is expected to get his first CFL start.

Miller is taking the right approach. All you can do now is quit thinking about what could have been and start concentrating on doing what you have to do. Bad call. We got screwed. Turn the page.
