What Have We Learned??

Week 6 of the CFL season has come to an end and there are once again some questions and statements that can be made. Here are some of them.

--What exactly is the role of the CFL command centre if they are not going to do their job. Its too late to say BC"s freak touchdown at the end of the first half shouldn't have counted because a guy was offside. It should have been noticed. End of story!

--The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have more wins than any team in the Western Division.

--One third of the way through the season and there is no way of knowing where the four teams in the West will finish. The Riders could finish first or they could be last. Its that tight.

--Darian Durant leads the CFL in touchdown passes with 9.

--Anthony Calvillo has to be the odds on favourite at the one third mark to repeat as M-O-P.

--Michael Bishop is not the answer in Winnipeg. (Then again, we could have said that when he was signed).

--Kerry Joseph's days in Toronto appear numbered, but it would help if he had some receivers.

--Why can't BC convert on 3rd and 1?

--How embarassing is it to be shutout in the CFL. Not even getting a single. OUCH!!

Nice start for the Regina Thunder. They open the 2009 PFC season with a 51-11 win over the Edmonton Huskies.
-----
The Stanley Cup is in town today with Penguins forward Chris Kunitz. He will be at City Hall all morning from 9-11. You can get your picture taken with hockey's holy grail for 5 bucks. Proceeds go to the Allan Blair cancer clinic.
-----
I'm not the biggest Tiger fan, but he is one of those guys you just have to watch because at any time he can provide brilliance. His 3rd shot on 16 yesterday was one of those moments. Unreal!!!
-----
How drunk must Patrick Kane have been? What the hell was he thinking?
-----
UFC fans, if you wondered where octagon girl Edith Labelle is, wonder no more. Edith(how can someone that hot be named Edith?) apparently phoned in sick before UFC 100 because she was too drunk the night before to look pretty as she strutted her you know what and showed off her you know whats around the octagon. She's been told to hit the road. Could we see Edith in the WWE soon?
----
That is all!

Someone should have tied the can to Jake Ireland years ago, and sent him up the creek WITHOUT a paddle. He is an absolute MORON!! He must have something on a CFL Uppity Up to still have a job. He didn't get the job because of his skill level.

Reading the story in the LP this morning, it would seem Old Man Miller screwed up too. If you have an opportunity to challenge a play why not?? Maybe Kenny is already in retirement mode. We need more than what we are getting from the head coach. Perhaps Mr. Tillman needs to reiterate things from the comforts of his own living room.

I don't think the command centre can call down to the on field officials for a review unless it is in the last few minutes of the game....not the half. Why Miller, with under 2 min in the half, didn;t throw his challenge flag, is beyond me. What is he saving it for???..the half was 4-6 plays from being over.
