RIDERS ADD TWO ON DEFENCE

He also rallied for 15 quarterback sacks and 41 tackles for a loss in his time at Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Cary Grove, IL product led the team to a 2007 national championship with 111 tackles including 61 solo tackles. In 2008, Raebel signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Vikings.
Patterson (6’2” – 280 lbs) was a two year starter at Ohio State where he accumulated 50 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss and eight quarterback sacks. Kevin Martin and Glenn Howard both won their games at the Brier this morning. Howard beating his brother Russ in what was the first game between brothers at the Brier in over 60 years. That game ended with Russ drawing for one and Glenn holding the broom on that final shot as the two brothers shared some levity in what was a funny moment. The game also featured another Howard as Russ' son Steven played for his dad against his uncle. As for Joel Jordison, he lost to Northern Ontario and is now 1-5. It means he will likely be on the outside looking in come playoff time even if he runs the table the rest of the way.
The Blades can set a WHL record tonight for most road wins in a season. They are in Moose Jaw looking for victory number 29 on the season away from Credit Union Centre. A win will also give them 100 points on the season and inch them just a little closer to an Eastern Division title---one that not many thought they would get at the start of the season. Still with the WHL, former Pats, current Vancouver Giants defenceman Craig Schira has signed a contract with the Ottawa Senators.
